Wildflower
Drew Barrymore is one rad chica.
Anything that stimulates my brain, gets me interested & hooked (When it's Drew Barrymore obviously I'm bound to be hooked.)
I headed to Newport Public Library.
Checked out Wildflower because….. Drew Barrymore.
Reading what people have to say can really be inspiring. Humans are relatable. Being a young gal myself and reading all about her life experiences really made me reflect on mine.
Rebel gal, flower gal, rock gal, fairy gal, WHO GIVES A FUCK GAL, do your thang gal .......
Totally had me feeling some type of way reading it and made me wanna work hard and HU$TL3.
It's nice to read about peoples emotions and passions and turn it into gold to inspire your life.
Not to mention her daughters, Frankie & Olive…..
There's a chapter in the book dedicated to Olive. It made me proud and happy to know that I've been kind of doing the same thing for Forest. I always write little poetic notes to her or about her latest accomplishments and I can't wait for her to grow up and cherish my thoughts and the fact that I did that for her.
I'm so happy to be welcomed into motherhood and it is truly something I hope all woman are blessed with to experience.
So much love.
Beyond everything, reading Wildflower inspired me to keep writing. How you should write for yourself everyday. Time is an illusion but time sometimes doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s amazing to think even just ten years from now, I will be reflecting and going back to art or something I wrote/created and think "Hey, you're pretty cool."
I just keep inspiring myself through the inspiration of everything.
Do whatever the hell you want in life. Find what your passionate about, let it inspire you...... follow that and dig it.
